Jewelry ranks among the most challenging items to take care of and clean, whilst also being our most sentimental, precious and often expensive items. Taking proper care of your collection is essential. Yet not only is cleaning with a brush labour-intensive, even soft bristles can be harsh on your jewelry & lead to lasting damage. Plus since jewellery is typically made with different materials, many of which may react with cleaning chemicals, so here you have a recipe for trouble.

This is where BeautifyBling device comes in! Our clever ultrasonic cleaning technology delicately eliminates all the microscopic impurities with a deep 360° clean, that will lengthen your jewelry's lifespan, ensuring your precious pieces stay radiant & free from a build up of those nasty impurities.

Our ultrasonic cleaner uses high-frequency (ultrasonic) pressure waves passing through water to provides a deep but gentle clean. These pressure waves cause the water to form bubbles on the surfaces of the jewelry once. It’s these minuscule bubbles that implode on themselves creating a vacuum-like effect to pull all the trapped grime, grease and dirt off the surface of the item being cleaned.

Using 45,000Hz, the pressure waves are powerful enough to penetrate into all the tiny gaps and crevices that other traditional cleaning methods cannot do, while also still being gentle enough to not scratch your precious jewelry.

By removing all these trapped contaminants like grime, dirt, acids, residual oils and dead skin clinging to your jewelry, you will uncover the shiny, dazzling piece underneath and beautify your bling in minutes!

The most common items include:

• All Metals: Platinum, Silver, Gold (yellow, white, rose gold, rolled gold and gold vermeil) brass and copper
• Precious Stones: diamonds, gemstones: sapphire, ruby, amethyst, citrine
• All types of jewelry: necklaces, bracelets, engagement rings, earrings, wedding bands, brooches
• Costume Jewelry that is not held together by adhesive
• Makeup Tools: brushes, eyelash curlers, mascara wands, beauty blenders, tweezers, pimple poppers
• Dental Products: aligners, dentures, mouth guards, retainers, electric toothbrush heads, manual toothbrushes all of which get build ups of bacteria and tartare which when left uncleaned stains the products and damages your health
• Eyewear: reading glasses, sunglasses, goggles - ensure glasses are placed in facing upwards only, and do not add scratched glasses or glasses with chipped paint as the vibrations can worsen these issues.  
• Reusable Straws & Drink-bottle Mouthpieces: these items are notoriously difficult to thoroughly clean and can often get moldy & cause harm to your health. Now you can rigorously clean nasty bacteria and mold just using water and no harsh chemicals
• Tools: taps, drill bits, milling cutters and other tools 

Other items such as brass music instrument parts, coins, fountain pens and firearm components

• Take care with items that incorporate glue and other adhesives (particularly costume jewelry) as prolonged water exposure may compromise their integrity over time
• Ultrasonic cleaners do a great job of removing paint, so unless you’re intending to remove paint from an item then do not clean it in the ultrasonic cleaner
• Scratched or cracked glasses, as the sonic vibrations may worsen these issues
• Avoid cleaning complete watches (unless they are a divers watch with a depth rating of over 50m) - see question below for more info on watches
• Ensure you only add gemstones with an Mohs rating higher then 8 

Watch parts such as the straps, buckles & bracelets are suitable to be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner. However, watches with a depth rating of less than 50m should not be placed in the device - ultrasonic vibrations can disrupt mechanical mechanisms and potentially damage the watch-face.

Do not add a watch unless it has been dismantled and you are only adding the watchband, not the watch-face.
Ultrasonic cleaners are also water-based, so there is a risk of water becoming trapped inside the watch-face and causing damage

All you will need for the device to work its magic is water!

However if you're looking for a deeper clean, or have particularly dirty jewelry, lather them in a milk dishwashing liquid prior to placing into the cleaning tank - this assists in breaking down the micro-contaminants to noticeably improve the cleaning.

Be sure to rinse and use a soft towel dry afterwards. For the most optimal results, polish with our BeautyBling Polishing Cloth!

Air & time together can cause a chemical reaction that leads to tarnishing. While extremely effective at removing built up dirt, germs, makeup and oils, the ultrasonic cleaner cannot reverse a chemical reaction.

Our Polishing cloth however will be more effective at aiding in the job of removing tarnish, so we recommend running your tarnished jewelry through the ultrasonic cleaner first to remove any trapped contaminants and then drying with a soft towel and follow with a polish using our cloth - this will lead to the best possible results for tarnished jewelry. 

When operated properly, the ultrasonic cleaner is safe to use.

• Only clean jewelry that can be submerged in water
• Only clean jewelry that does not feature any loose, coated or treated stones or any soft and porous stones (such as opal, amber, or onyx) ceramics or soft jewelry should also not be cleaned (such as pearls, emerald, ivory, coral, agate, sea turtle shells) as this may cause scratches and damage.
• Do not put in any jewelry with pre-existing cracks, as the vibrations can enlarge these cracks.
• Avoid cleaning complete watches, even if the watch is waterproof or water resistant. 
• Do not submerge your finger in the water when the device is operating - even if you cannot remove your ring! Our Polishing Wipe will be a better fit for you in these cases.

In a speedy 3-minutes you can run one cycle on the ultrasonic cleaner. For particularly dirty or built up removal of grime you can run two cycles, ensuring you empty the water and refill with clean water for the second round.

You may also notice a ‘dust-cloud’ effect in the water whenever your jewelry is particularly dirty, however if your jewelry is better taken care of, then you may not notice this dramatic dust cloud effect in the water - although you will still be left with a much better sparkle & shine!

We're proud of how exceptionally easy and user-friendly our ultrasonic cleaner is to use. 

1. Simply fill with stainless steel tank with water, ensuring you do not overfill past the marked MAX line
2. Lather jewelry in a mild  dishwashing liquid. (Please note, this step is not for other items such as eyewear or dental products)
3. Plug the cord into a power outlet
4. Add your pieces to the tank ensuring they are submerged and you do not overfill and press the button
5. 3 minutes later you will see/hear the device switch off so unplug from the power outlet then remove your pieces, give them a quick rinse under running water and dry with a soft towel.
   
   For the BEST results, we highly recommend using our Polishing Cloth after towel drying for a radiant shine like brand-new!

• Avoid adding flammable liquids
• Do not immerse your hand in the tank whilst it is operating 
• Always turn off the socket and unplug the power cord after use
• Only fill the water to the MAX line - overfilling can cause the water to overflow from the tank
• Do not use if you have a pacemaker - high frequency sound waves may interfere with pacemakers
